Northern part and upper plate of the rare wallmap in 3 plates “Les Frontieres de France et d’Allemagne, dessus et aux environs du Rhein, de la Meuse, de la Moselle et de la Saare”. Shows the Netherlands including Northern Brabant and parts of Germany west of the river Ems. The map, which was engraved by Liebaux, is surrounded by rich ornamental features, including plans of towns, portraits, allegorical figures and the coat of arms of the Dutch provinces and other territories along the river Rhine; the ornaments are engraved by Guerard. – Full impression of the plate. At all sides at least small margin around platemark. Splendid full original colour. Minor restorations.
