Koeman-van der Krogt map 8100:1A. Verso Latin text, sign. 7D and page Nos. 323-324. First issue of this important map, which was engraved by Jodocus Hondius as one of the new maps, which he added to the new atlas. The title-cartouche is embellished with a medaillon portrait of Sultan Mehmet III. – Fine and strong impression with original margins at all sides. In left and lower white margin manuscript remarks in Latin by an old hand. Exceptionally bright original colour! Only green parts slightly darker. Few tears near lower centrefold neatly restored. – A very attractive copy of the rare first issue in outstandingly beautiful original colour!
