Koeman-van der Krogt map 1000:1B. Verso blank. First issue of this important new map, which was engraved by Jodocus Hondius to be added to his new Mercator edition. – Fine and strong impression of the full plate with original margins at all sides. Very little cracking through of borders of green coloured areas, strengthening on verso. Unobtrusive offsetting. Centrefold and few creases flattened, negligible marginal imperfections mended. A very good copy of the rare first issue in absolutely untouched bright original colour!
