Copperplate map after Fortunat Sprecher von Berneck and Philipp Clüwer in original colour, engraved by Evert Sijmonsz. Hamersvelt and published by Jodocus Hondius, Amsterdam 1625 or later. Was never published in an Atlas and is therefore not described by Koeman-van der Krogt, Atlantes Neerlandici. Rare: At times there was a dispute, whether this map existed at all, cf. the remarks by Giudicetti.
Even impression of the whole copperplate with original white margins at all sides. No centrefold; the map has been preserved plano. Full original colour, which is another unusual feature of our copy. Some staining in places and negligible restorations.
