Pastoureau, Sans. V, map 95. 1st state. Probably from “Cartes generales de toutes les parties du monde” of 1658 (P., Sans. V A). A multitude of tribe names have been inserted although the author concedes that the location of the tribes’ territories might not be accurate.
Fine impression with wide original margins. The colours freshly preserved. Glue from the guard slightly shining through. Else few spots only, mainly in margin.
